The Generalitat Valenciana has granted Fundación del Valle financing to carry out our cooperation project:
«Contribute to peaceful coexistence and reduce the factors of social and economic exclusion of the Salvadoran economy by putting into practice the values of peace culture, promoting the female leadership and improving the possibilities for labour insertion in 5 municipalities of the Los Nonualcos Association, Dept. of La Paz and San Vicente«. (El Salvador)
Generalitat Valenciana has approved this project that will be executed by the Salvadoran entity CIDEP, partner of Fundación del Valle since 2006.
Taking into account the levels of violence in the country and the phenomenon of maras, we are committed to instill into young people values and behaviours that contribute to reduce violence in their communities and their families; and to support women’s leadership so that their rights are taken into account in municipal policies.
In order to prevent them from migrating or integrating into illicit and criminal activities, they will be supported, in association with local public authorities, so they can achieve the integration into the labour market by developing an educational program to ensure youth employment insertion.
