On Saturday, July 13, we organized the XI Fundación del Valle Golf Tournament at the Santander Golf Club (in the Financial City of Santander, Boadilla del Monte, Madrid), .
The course, considered as one of the best golf courses in Spain, was the setting for our players to enjoy a privileged environment and a good solidary atmosphere among friends.
From early in the morning, the players arrived and registered with the staff of Fundación del Valle, collecting their welcome packs and their supplies.
The shooting took place at 9 am, and throughout the tour we offered some more drinks and snacks to the players so they would feel welcomed by the organization.
Once all the cards were handed out, the Director of the course, Asís de Bastida, announced the winners of the prizes, who collected their trophies from Antonio Basagoiti García-Tuñón, a great collaborator of our institution, Dª Angeli Astorqui, -Honorary Patron of Fundación del Valle- and her son Santiago Jiménez de Andrade.
Elisabet López Torrents, General Director of Fundación del Valle, welcomed all and briefly talked about the projects we’re currently working on.
While the guests tasted a lunch-cocktail, a raffle took place where we gave the winners some fantastic gifts donated by our unconditional sponsors. In a special way, we had the support of Martínez de Aspe Arquitectos, in addition to other contributors and donors of the Foundation: Massumeh Cosmetics, Bodegas Parxet, Viñedos Alonso del Yerro, Natixis, Natura Bissé, IEB, Artecristal, Cope, Grupo Santander, Intercontinental del Regalo, Oliva Nova Golf, Golf’ Us, Primaderm and Coca Cola.
The incomes obtained will be used to benefit the educational projects for Development Cooperation that we carry out throughout the world. Thus, we thank all of you who have made it possible that this solidarity initiative has been a success.
