Belén Valenzuela, Coordinator of the Department of Cooperation, toured El Salvador and Guatemala in November and December last, to follow up on the interventions that FdV supports in these countries together with local partners FUNDAP, CIDEP, CORDES and FUSAI.
These projects are being financed by the AECID, the Diputación de Ciudad Real, the City Council of Valladolid and own funds.
In El Salvador we focus on the socio-economic insertion of the youth population and women in vulnerable situations in the Departments of San Vicente, La Paz and San Salvador through the development of personal and professional skills and abilities that allow them to be effective participation in the economic, social and political life of their territories.
In Guatemala, we are supporting interventions to guarantee food security for children and expectant mothers.
