A Project to promote high quality work in the field of youth
PROJECT
In Europe there is a high rate of young people at risk of exclusion by educational, social and economic shortages, dropout and difficulty in joining the labour market. It is necessary to promote the participation of these young people in educational programs that prevent their social exclusion and promote their employability.
This situation has joined the massive entry into Europe for refugees from countries in war State in search of asylum. The Member countries of the Union undertake to help these people, but the collaboration of entities with sufficient capacity of work and reception is necessary for this to be really effective and do not originate a discrimination problem.
Three entities of three countries of the Union, that work with young people with fewer opportunities, including refugees, will share their experience with the objective of promoting high quality work in the field of youth that respond to the needs of the most disadvantaged through new methodologies that incite these young people to participate in educational programs that promote employment and social inclusion.
TARGET
The target group that is leading the project are the workers of the three participating entities that work with young people with fewer opportunities for educational, social and economic deficiencies and refugees seeking asylum.
The need for the project to promote employment and social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, including refugees, is a problem common to the whole of the European Union. Each participating entity faces this need from its specific scope and based on the idiosyncrasies of his country, but it is a problem that seriously affects Europe, project Welcome to Europe comes before the need for Exchange of practices and methods to increase the capacity of organizations working in the field of youth at transnational level and address solutions that benefit the Union on the basis of the priorities of the strategy 2020: reduce the risk of social exclusion, preventing early school leaving and increasing employability and grant asylum to refugees.
OBJECT
Promoting high quality work in the field of youth that respond to the needs of the most disadvantaged through new methodologies that incite these young people to participate in educational programs that promote employment and social inclusion.
The project aims to achieve the following specific objectives:
1. Train workers in the area of youth, through the exchange of practices and methods.
2. Develop improved methodologies and effective programs that reach young people with fewer opportunities.
3. Promote the active participation of young people with fewer opportunities in educational programs that promote employment and social inclusion
4. Increase the capacity at transnational level of the participating entities.

Description
The mission and goal of Stowarzyszenie Podnoszenia Kwalifikacji Kobietis to work in favour of the development of women and the integral education of youth, as well as to initiate and promote scientific, educational and cultural activities. The Association’s further aim is to foster charitable activity, social assistance, the spirit of service, and the development of family traditions and their contribution to society.
The Association achieves its goals mainly by running training, cultural and scientific centres and by collaborating with associations, which have a similar profile. Simultaneously, as a non-governmental organization, it promotes and implements programs, which help girls and young professional women to discover their role in society by understanding their social, economic and cultural responsibility. While accomplishing its goals the Association wants to influence positively the way of life of women by helping them to discover and develop their skills, aspirations and dreams.
The Association has several paid employees and counts on numerous volunteers who get involved in its specific activities.

Fundación del Valle has been working for 25 years on behalf of women, youth and children, through social initiatives with a priority component of educational character. Fundación del Valle carries out an extensive program of educational, cultural and volunteer activities with young people, including young people with fewer opportunities, with the aim of promoting human and cultural integrity of the person. Fundación del Valle makes exchanges and training programs between beneficiaries from different countries in order to share knowledge and experiences, promoting coexistence with people of other cultures and promoting values such as solidarity and tolerance.
Among its goals, FDV works in Spain and in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa. Fundación del Valle conducts numerous programs sociocultural Promotion of women with training projects and improve their professional qualifications so that they can participate increasingly more effectively in society and promote their integration in the labor market.

Description
ZAVOD D & K brings to the project his consolidated experience to host the young people in a situation of economic precariousness. The entity brings to these people hospitality, personal guidance and social inclusion.
The entity carries out programmes of social integration of young people through numerous intergenerational volunteering activities: among young people in situations of exclusion that accompany and carry out activities with elders in a situation of loneliness or abandonment.
Since the beginning of 2016 ZAVOD D & K collaborates actively with the programs promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the care and the integration of the 597 refugees who will have sought asylum in Slovenia this year. In this sense, ZADOV brings to the project its experience in Social integration programs, the material and human assistance with refugee programs and intergenerational volunteer programs.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
transnational meetings
Cooperation and communication between the partners and other stakeholders will be supported by several management tools:
• A common workspace with an interactive cloud for all documents of the project: Dropbox server.
• Steering Group: Sessions of work via Skype or video conferencing for proper monitoring of the project.
Three transnational meetings, one in each participating country are planned:

Involved workers of the three participating entities.

Objective: To promote high quality work in the field of youth is necessary to professionalize the workers. Welcome to Europe wants to increase the working capacity of the participating institutions at the transnational level. For this purpose it is necessary for staff to acquire international and transversal competences that can provide added value to your professional profile. The European project screening requires that participating workers are able to engage in an international scope.
Digital tools used in the project, the Dropbox server management and the digital platform to Exchange content and methods, do not guarantee the interculturality of the project at all. Intercultural dialogue and teamwork “person to person” is which favours transnational skills that workers have to acquire the European and international dimension to your professional development.
The project organizes a brief Act of training aimed at workers in the field of youth of the three partner organisations that allow participants to put into practice their linguistic and intercultural skills through a study visit to the educational programmes with disadvantaged youth that the Spanish company develops in Madrid.

Involving all the partners: 8 workers of each participating entity
Profile of the worker participants: a Manager, responsible for the entity in the stering group of the project, staff dedicated to the management of European projects, tutors and monitors youth.
Program:
1) Visit to all educational programs developed by the Spanish entity at the local level with young people with fewer opportunities. Participants can check how and where these programs are developed: methods, profile of disadvantaged young people, training for the workers involved, etc.
They will visit the programmes implemented within the framework of the project:
- The study support program
- Healthy leisure programme
- Family orientation program
2) Observation of the work of the Organization at the headquarters of the Foundation:
- Management of European projects: preparation, implementation and evaluation.
- Quality system and risk control.
- Fundraising
- Human resources: employees, volunteers and training.
3) Space for reflection
Every day the participants will reflect, analyze and discuss the knowledge acquired with the objective of exchanging practices and promote intercultural enrichment of the project.
